Use Cases

In the late 1960s, while working on telephone systems at Ericsson, Ivar Jacobson invented what later became known as use cases. Case study as a research method is often indexed as neither quantitative nor qualitative. While there is utility in applying this method retrospectively, it is most often used prospectively.
